Yoel Smit

Yoel Luka Smit Ayala (born on 04/13/2000 in Amsterdam) wrote and directed "Strangers," his first short film during his first year at film school (at ECIB, Barcelona). He later pursued studies in cinematography at the same school and subsequently made his first short film as DP, "GIME," which was selected in various small film festivals, both locally and internationally. His most recent project is currently entering postproduction, while simultaneously entering preproduction for his next project. Alongside pursuing a career in cinematography, he also takes on other roles within the department like Gaffer and G&E.
