Ben Garchar is an award-winning director and editor based in NYC who works fluidly between documentary and fiction, though he doesn't understand any difference between the two. He's collaborated with audacious first-time filmmakers and seasoned veterans alike (totaling seven Oscar nominations and three wins), on films that have premiered at Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, Hot Docs, Full Frame, and BAMcinemaFest (to name a few).
