Brie Howard

​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Brie Howard is an American musician and actress. She has also appeared or been credited under the names Brie Brandt, Brie Darling, and Brie Howard Darling. Howard, was a drummer for the pioneering all-woman rock band Fanny and a singer and percussionist with the American Girls, and is the lead singer (and percussionist) of the Boxing Gandhis. Howard starred opposite Klaus Kinski in Aaron Lipstadt's sci-fi film Android and appeared in a few other films, including Somebody to Love with the Screamin' Sirens. Howard has appeared on many albums as a backing vocalist or percussionist (or both), including Peter Criss's Let Me Rock You, Lynda Carter's Portrait, Jimmy Buffet's Feeding Frenzy, the Pointer Sisters' Break Out, Andrew Ridgeley's Son of Albert, Carole King's In Concert, and Ringo Starr's Ringo the 4th. Howard was married to James Newton Howard, then David Darling. She is the mother of actress and model Brandi Brandt.
