Stefan Kubicki

Stefan Kubicki is a Polish and American filmmaker. His debut short, East, was the first narrative film to shoot in Ukraine's Chernobyl Zone. He later trained as a director at the AFI Conservatory in Los Angeles, where his thesis film Against Night earned a Student Academy Award nomination and won more than a dozen other international festival prizes. His first feature, Safe Space, premiered in 2022.
