The always delightful Duff plays Belle, sent by dad Howell, to assess an estate owned by brooding Gonzalez, a loner who likes to take his shirt off a lot and has a cute dog called Beast. That’s enough clues. Add in a jealous would-be boyfriend and the impending holiday season and we get a fuzzy romance that is a lot of fun. This is a typical holiday movie for those for those who believe dreams can come true. The real attraction is Duff who is always winsome and appealing, almost making this fluff seem possible.
