Someone does a nasty hatchet job on a San Francisco big shot and the Assistant D.A. takes charge of the investigation. Through a web of blackmail and prostitution involving the Governor, an old lover of the lawman emerges as a prime suspect and he has to deal with his personal feelings as well as the case.

Well, this is trying to be an erotic thriller and it is trying to be neo noir... and it doesn't pull off either.

It seems to be constantly confused about which way to go, never committing to either genre and not really merging them together very well. Which is pretty sad given that erotic thriller and Noir tend to mix nicely for the most part and can seemlessly transition.

Jade didn't know how to mix them, and it couldn't decide which it wanted to be.

So, in the end, it hints at both and falls flat in both.
