Camila Márdila

Camila Márdila dos Remédios Evangelista (Taguatinga, February 21, 1988) is a Brazilian actress. Camila is awarded by Sundance Film Festival and by the Brazilian Cinema Gran Prix for her work in the feature film The Second Mother (2015) directed by Anna Muylaert. She performed several roles on TV series such as Feras (2019), Where My Heart Is (2021), Land of The Strong (2018), Above Justice (2016) and also A Mother's Love (2019), the former both being International Emmy Nominees. She's in the cast of the featured films Charcoal (2022), by Carolina Markowicz, My Name is Gal (2023), by Dandara Ferreira and Lô Politi and I'm Still Here (2024), by Walter Salles. She is also featured in the Netflix series Good Morning Veronica (2020) as one of the lead characters (2nd season) as well as Senna (2024), the miniseries about the famous Formula 1 driver, also on Netflix. "Charcoal" premiered at TIFF (Toronto Film Festival - 2022), as the only Latin American feature film in the international competitive session (Platform Prize) and was also part of San Sebastián's Latin Horizon's lineup, among other festivals worldwide.
