Oh, I'm going to watch this again. I'd say 9 out of 10 rating for me. The supernatural thing makes it sound like it's going to be hokie and ridiculous but things just flow right along. It's absolutely a really, really good movie. I think it may end up on my faves list.
I loved the soundtrack. The acting was awesome. The two lead females were great, as was the young boy. I was totally into their characters because they played them so great. They were real despite the supernatural power of one of them. Nothing one dimensional about them.
The filming was great. The setting was interesting. A couple pieces of it may be predictable and unoriginal but the various situations and characters juxtaposed with each other and given their own personalities, no one too cookie cutter, make it work.
It's urban, underground city stuff mixed with a bit of supernatural, just a bit. It's feel good in a mild vengeance sort of way. You should watch it. You may even gain a bit of insight.
